Michael Bourn begins Triple-A rehab

CLEVELAND -- Indians outfielder Michael Bourn, who has been sidelined with a lacerated right finger, will begin a minor league rehabilitation assignment Monday.

Bourn sustained a five-stitch cut on his hand when he was stepped on by Chicago reliever Matt Thornton while sliding into first base on April 14. He began taking batting practice during the weekend and will play a few games at Triple-A Columbus before rejoining the Indians.
