Jonathan Broxton has elbow swelling

CINCINNATI -- Reds reliever Jonathan Broxton has swelling in his right elbow, leaving his status uncertain for a weekend series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Broxton had an ultrasound exam that detected the swelling on Friday before the opener of the three-game series. He was listed as day to day.
