The National Weather Service is forecasting showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. The chance of rain is 90 percent.
Forecasters say the rain is likely to continue into the evening
in St. Louis but end by around 9 p.m. CT. The first pitch of the Red Sox-Cardinals game is scheduled for about 7:30 p.m. CT.
Boston leads the best-of-seven series 2-0 heading into the games in Missouri.
Pedro Martinez (16-9, 3.90) is scheduled to start for the Sox, with Jeff Suppan (16-9, 4.16) on the mound for the Cards.
