Toronto seemed like just another stop for Bautista when he was traded to the Blue Jays in 2008. But he reinvented himself as a hitter, and what has happened is one of the most remarkable out-of-nowhere stories in recent memory. Bautista transformed himself from a journeyman into the game's premier slugger. Bautista pounded a MLB-best 54 homers in 2010 and hasn't stopped. With 31 homers already, the first-time Home Run Derby participant is on pace to finish 2011 with 55.
"Power Strokes" examines four of the eight sluggers in the State Farm Home Run Derby (Monday, 8 p.m. ET, ESPN/ESPN3.com).
