Fun fact: Held the single-season record for hits (257) from 1920 until Ichiro Suzuki broke it in 2004

Perhaps the greatest player in St. Louis Browns history, Sisler ripped 257 hits in 1920 and 246 in 1922, hitting over .400 in both seasons.

Sisler set the AL record for hits in consecutive games (41) in 1922, a mark that was subsequently eclipsed by Joe DiMaggio in 1941.
