Andino Delivers

• The Situation: With closer Jonathan Papelbon on the mound, the Red Sox were three outs from a 3-2 win and at least a tie for the AL wild-card berth.

• The Outcome: With two outs, Chris Davis and Nolan Reimold hit consecutive doubles to tie the game. Robert Andino then hit a sinking liner to left field that a sliding Carl Crawford couldn't catch. Reimold scored as the Orioles won 4-3 and mobbed Andino on the field.

• The Impact: Boston's playoff chances now depended on a Yankee victory over the Rays. Their fate was determined only minutes later.

• The Quote: "To make Boston go home sad, crying, I'll take it all day." -- Andino
