MONTREAL -- Bartolo Colon's $6 million option for 2003 was exercised Tuesday by the Montreal Expos.
Colon, acquired June 27 from Cleveland, was 10-4 with a 3.31 ERA for the Expos and went 20-8 with a 2.93 ERA in 33 starts overall.
In addition, Montreal activated infielder Jose Macias from the 60-day disabled list. |
