He was 8 for 42 with one home run and four RBIs in 13 games since his May 3 debut. He was 0 for 4 Monday in Cleveland's 11-10 come-from-behind win over Tampa Bay.
Crowe opened the season with the Indians, and was 6 for 33 before being optioned to Columbus when LaPorta was called up.
Jackson, also acquired from the Brewers, had a 5.79 ERA in 4 2/3 innings over two relief outings for Cleveland this season before being optioned out on April 22. In seven appearances, including four starts at Columbus, he went 3-2 with a 3.09 ERA.
