At 18 years, 10 months, 13 days, Lindstrom is the youngest player to appear in the World Series. He played third base for the New York Giants as they faced the Washington Senators in the 1924 Fall Classic. Lindstrom hit .333 for the Series, getting four hits in one game off Walter Johnson. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee in 1976.
