Make a great movie about a son seeking to re-connect with his father, emphasize the importance of baseball in America, and fill it with great actors and performances (Kevin Costner, James Earl Jones, Burt Lancaster), and people will come to the theater, Ray, people will most definitely come. And they also will rent it on Netflix nearly a quarter-century later because this Oscar nominee deserved the Academy Award for Best Picture over that year's winner, "Driving Miss Daisy." It will have to settle for being SportsNation's No. 1 pick instead.
