No. 7: 'The Bad News Bears' (1976)

We're talking about the original 1976 politically incorrect version, not the 2005 update with Billy Bob Thornton. This is the one in which Tatum O'Neal pitches like Nolan Ryan, Walter Matthau smokes like Jim Leyland and Yankees manager Vic Morrow parents like Darth Vader. If only it hadn't been so successful that it spurred two awful sequels.
