As a fly ball pitcher, it could have gotten ugly in Coors Field, but now Slowey has a fighting chance to join the Indians' rotation. Against his will, Slowey was relegated to bullpen duty in his final season with Minnesota. The demotion was a result of a 6.67 ERA, though the crafty righty was torpedoed by a .330 BABIP and 1.5 HR/9, despite an outstanding 6.80 K/BB.
