Reynolds Making His Mark In Beantown
From Elias: Mark Reynolds belted a three-run homer to cap a seven-run third-inning outburst in the Orioles' 8-2 victory in Boston. In his last four games at Fenway Park - two last September and two this weekend - Reynolds has gone 8-for-17 with four home runs and 10 RBIs. In 101 seasons of baseball at Fenway Park, only 12 other visiting players have accumulated eight hits, four homers and 10 RBIs over a span of four straight games there. The most recent player to do that was the Rangers' Mike Napoli, also extending over last season and this; more impressive is the fact that the first three players ever to do it were named Lou Gehrig (in 1927), Babe Ruth (in 1927-28) and Joe DiMaggio (in 1948-49).
