He was promoted in early June and proceeded to swat six homers in his first nine games en route to 21 for the season. Moss will open 2013 as the regular first baseman, though he could lose at bats versus tough lefties. While Moss's power is real, his 26 percent HR/FB rate is due for some regression. In addition, Moss will need to reduce his 30 percent strikeout rate if he wants to avoid slumps and a possible benching.
