He has one substantial weakness, however: Breaking pitches. He's a .211/.240/.380 hitter against them in three big league seasons, compared to .268/.347/.455 against everything else, and he sees a heck of a lot more of them when he falls behind in the count, as he so frequently does. Rasmus is the kind of player who could break through by leaps and bounds with a few adjustments, and at 25 years old he's plenty young enough to make them. But are they coming this season?
