From Elias: Matt Joyce drove in five runs, including a go-ahead two-run double in the top of the ninth as the Rays came from behind to post a 10-6 win at Baltimore. Joyce is the first major leaguer in 2013 to post 5+ RBIs and the game-winner in the ninth inning or later. The only other Tampa Bay players to do that are Miguel Cairo in 2000 at Minnesota, Delmon Young against the Rangers at Walt Disney World in 2007, and Carlos Pena against the Yankees at Tropicana Field in 2012.

Joyce Homer Provides Only Run Of Game

From Elias: Jeremy Hellickson and two relievers limited the Athletics to three hits and Matt Joyce homered in the Rays' 1-0 victory over Oakland. It was the seventh time in the Rays' 16 seasons in the majors that they had won a game in which one of their players homered for the lone run; the last such incidence came three years ago, when Reid Brignac's 11th-inning blow beat the Yankees.

Joyce Jolts Orioles In The Ninth

From Elias: Matt Joyce led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a home run to cap a come from behind win for the Rays over the Orioles on Wednesday night. It is only the second time that Joyce has hit a go-ahead home run in the ninth inning or later in his career, his only other such instance coming on May 9, 2012 when he hit a three-run home run off of David Robertson in the ninth inning at Yankee Stadium in a 4-1 Rays win. The Orioles blew a 4-0 lead in the loss. Baltimore lost only one game in which it led by at least four runs in 2012, tied with Detroit, Kansas City and Toronto for the fewest such losses in the American League.
