M's Rally When Down To Their Final Out
From Elias: Raul Ibanez and Justin Smoak hit back-to-back, two-out home runs in the ninth inning off Chris Perez to erase a 4-2 deficit, but the Indians scored in the bottom of the ninth to escape with a 5-4 victory. It was the first time the Mariners had ever hit two straight two-out home runs to tie a game in the ninth inning or later. The last major-league team to pull this trick was the Braves at Philadelphia in April 2010. Troy Glaus and Jason Heyward took Ryan Madson deep in the ninth, and Atlanta went on to win in 10 innings.

It was the first time that two relief pitchers with the same last name earned decisions in a game since July 31, 2011, when the Brewers' Francisco Rodriguez earned the victory over the Astros' Fernando Rodriguez.
