Johnson Stays Hot... And Norris Beats Garcia Again
From Elias: Chris Johnson's first-inning grand-slam home run sounded the keynote and Bud Norris again outdueled Jaime Garcia in the Astros' 8-2 victory over the Cardinals. Johnson, who had a two-homer game against the Mets on Wednesday, has three home runs and 10 RBIs over his last three games, becoming the first Astros player to reach those figures over a three-game span since the first three games of the 2001 season, when Richard Hidalgo had three homers and 10 RBIs in a series sweep of the Brewers. Norris, who is 20-25 for his big-league career in decisions against other pitchers, is 3-0 in four head-to-head starts against Garcia; Garcia, meanwhile, is 29-15 against everybody else, but he's now 0-3 against Norris. (In addition, the Astros also won the game in which both Norris and Garcia started but had no decision.)
