What's distressing is he seemed to shorten his swing after being demoted to the minors last April; his strikeout rate dipped to 20.3 percent thereafter, but he averaged one homer per 58.0 at-bats, compared to 12.1 and 29.8 numbers between Double- and Triple-A in 2008-09. If that's his new approach, his power potential might not be even great enough to warrant more than a late-round AL-only pick.","seasonId":2012,"date":"Fri Feb 10"}}
