The main weakness in his game is a lack of plate patience, which is doubly bad because he has the ability to turn a walk into a double. Bourjos also needs to improve his contact rate above the 75.3 percent mark he sported last season, especially if he wants to move up in the order, perhaps even batting in front of Albert Pujols. At least for now, Bourjos should be drafted as a late-game source of speed if you need those couple additional bags but do not want to completely ignore power, either.
