He owns a 15:5 K:BB ratio in 21.1 innings and a solid 2.95 ERA. Five home runs allowed (including one to Gordon Beckham on Tuesday) is a bit concerning, but if he can keep the ball in the yard he could be an average (or even slightly better) MLB pitcher. That's by no means a certainty, but he definitely deserves a look in deeper or AL-only leagues at this point.","date":"Tue May 22"},"fullName":"P.J. Walters Recovers From Early Blast To Go The Distance
From Elias: P.J. Walters allowed a home run to Gordon Beckham in the first inning but recovered to post a five-hit, complete-game victory in the Twins' 9-2 win over the White Sox. Over the last two seasons, only one other pitcher went all the way for a win after allowing a first-inning home run: Felix Hernandez, in Seattle's season opener in 2011. The last Twins pitcher to do so was Brad Radke in 2003.
