Originally making top prospect lists as a shortstop with a nonathletic body and projectable power, Moustakas has changed positions and has found a home at the hot corner. His strong suit is the above-average contact he displayed in his inaugural MLB season, striking out only 14 percent of the time in 365 at-bats as a rookie. For the aforementioned power to manifest, he needs to develop more patience, as he walked at only a 6 percent clip. He is a fly ball hitter, so that part of the equation is in place. Moustakas, 23, has plenty of time to develop his raw power, and he teased us by clearing the fence four times last September. Moustakas may be a better pickup for keeper and dynasty leagues, as his lack of plate discipline could lead to some struggles, but at a weak third-base position, Moustakas is an interesting upside play capable of outperforming his ranking.","seasonId":2012,"date":"Wed Feb 15"},"playerRater30DAY":2.5,"playerRater15DAY":0.5,"positionRank":12}
