Perhaps Rangers Ballpark is what's holding him back; he had a 5.14 ERA and 1.42 WHIP in 32 games there over the past two seasons, compared to 3.50 and 1.17 in 29 games on the road. Those paint the picture of a matchups consideration in mixed leagues or a middle-of-your-staff AL-only option, but at the same time Holland has made tiny advances in terms of his control, especially with his fastball, each year. He's 26 years old and broke into the majors with high expectations, so it's not unthinkable that he has additional steps to take.
