M's Rally When Down To Their Final Out
From Elias: Raul Ibanez and Justin Smoak hit back-to-back, two-out home runs in the ninth inning off Chris Perez to erase a 4-2 deficit, but the Indians scored in the bottom of the ninth to escape with a 5-4 victory. It was the first time the Mariners had ever hit two straight two-out home runs to tie a game in the ninth inning or later. The last major-league team to pull this trick was the Braves at Philadelphia in April 2010. Troy Glaus and Jason Heyward took Ryan Madson deep in the ninth, and Atlanta went on to win in 10 innings.

MLB - Mariners late back-to-back HR
Raul Ibanez and Justin Smoak hit back-to-back homers for the Mariners in the ninth inning off Chris Perez to tie the game. It's the first time Seattle has hit back-to-back home runs in the ninth inning or later since July 19, 2004. Miguel Olivo and Edgar Martinez went back-to-back against the Red Sox Keith Foulke in the ninth to tie the game before winning the game on a Bret Boone grand slam in the 11th.
