Zimmermann did, however, look the part of a fantasy ace for four months, 19 of his first 21 games resulting in quality starts with a 2.28 ERA and 1.06 WHIP. Could it be that he merely tired late in the year, his first as a full-time starter? Perhaps, and his drafting owners will be banking upon that chance that he'll be more up to the task in 2013.
