The Braves did a much better job of pacing him in 2012; he made 66 appearances and tallied 58 2/3 innings, and following a two-week DL stint in July for an elbow injury, he managed a 1.71 ERA in his next 26 games. There's a lesson in there, and fantasy owners should hope the Braves learned it, with their winter acquisition of Jordan Walden serving as a hint that they have. Consider Venters one of the best ERA/WHIP/K's middle men in the game, with a chance for 20-plus holds, and in the event of the worst for closer Craig Kimbrel, he might even vault himself into the saves discussion.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Wed Feb 20"}}
