Astros Show Their Power On Home Stand
From Elias: Chris Carter, Ronny Cedeno, and Brandon Laird all homered for the Astros in a 10-3 victory over the Mariners. That win capped a six-game home stand on which Houston hit 10 home runs. It was only the third time in the Astros' last 32 home stands, dating back to August 2010, that they averaged more than one home run per game. Houston scored in double-figures in two of its six games against Seattle this month, having posted a 16-9 win at Safeco Field earlier in April. Over the last 365 days, the Astros scored 10 or more run in only two of 159 games against all other opponents.
