Astros Rookie Evokes Bo Jackson
From Elias: Brandon Barnes was 3-for-5 with three RBI in the Astros' 9-1 romp over the Yankees. Barnes is the first rookie in 26 years with at least three hits and three or more runs batted in against the Yankees in an April game. Bo Jackson went 4-for-5 with three RBI versus New York on April 10, 1987, a game that the Royals won, 13-1. All four of Jackson's hits were singles.
