Unfortunately, due to lackluster stuff -- his fastball averaged 88.0 mph last season, and neither his curveball nor slider is a plus pitch -- Fiers struggled late in the year, posting only two quality starts and a 6.99 ERA and 1.68 WHIP in his final 10 turns.
