He'll be in the mix for a rotation spot this spring, and on skills alone, might have the edge in what's sure to be a tight race. But even if Pomeranz has to settle for beginning the year in Triple-A ball, he should move quickly. He'll probably require an adjustment period -- his command needs some polish and his changeup some improvement -- and Coors Field presents one of the more challenging venues in which to break in.
