It's expected that Tyler Skaggs or Patrick Corbin will take over Collmenter's spot in the rotation.","date":"Fri Apr 27"},"fullName":"Josh Collmenter","seasonOutlook":{"outlook":"Pressed into starting duty last May to replace the ineffective Barry Enright in the Diamondbacks' rotation, Collmenter posted back-to-back quality starts and four in his first five to cement his status as one of the team's top four options come playoff time. Though he lacks overpowering stuff, Collmenter's command was superb; his 1.63 walks per nine was eighth-best among pitchers with 150-plus innings. The problem, however, is that he's an extreme fly baller -- his 47.5 percent rate was fourth highest -- who calls hitter-friendly Chase Field his home, meaning he'll need to get every bit as many lucky bounces as he did in 2011 to repeat
and remember that he had a .260 BABIP and 7.3 home run/fly ball percentage, numbers that were extremely low. Collmenter might rank among 2012's top regression candidates, so while he might have matchups appeal in NL-only formats, he's a dangerous pick to be anything close to a repeat.","seasonId":2012,"date":"Fri Feb 10"},"playerRater30DAY":-0.7,"playerRater15DAY":-0.6,"positionRank":182}
