Pettitte's problem in his past two big league seasons has been injuries; a groin problem wiped out two months of his 2010 and a broken left ankle wiped out nearly three months of his 2012. Now 40, and set to turn 41 on June 15, Pettitte shouldn't be counted on to make 30-plus starts, but he's committed to a full, potentially final, season and has made the adjustments necessary to offer respectable ratios with a healthy win total backed by the Yankees' lineup.
