Fatigue then seemed to kick in; he posted a 5.60 ERA in 24 second-half appearances, walked more batters after the break (12) than before it (11) despite 10 fewer games, and spent some time on the DL with a forearm injury in September. Ross did return before year's end and his winter health reports have been fine, and the Rangers have mentioned him as a dark-horse candidate for their rotation. He's a finesse/command pitcher who generates a high rate of ground balls, so even in a starter's role he could be of AL-only or matchups help. Consider Ross in the late rounds in those formats, especially if he's throwing well in March.","seasonId":2013,"date":"Thu Feb 21"},"playerRater30DAY":-0.1,"playerRater15DAY":0.1,"positionRank":99}
