Straily, 24, is a righty with a deep repertoire that plays up due to his control (2.5 walks per nine in Double- and Triple-A). He's major league-ready but might not crack the A's deep rotation to start the season. Expect Straily to be back in the bigs at some point in the first half, and he should benefit from pitching in Oakland. Beware, though, that he did surrender a whopping 11 homers with the A's in 2012.
