Clearing the Bases: Dodgers do it again
First base: Magical ending. It's only 43 games and crazy things can happen between games 44 and 162, but it's starting to look like one of those seasons for the Dodgers. They're now 30-13 after one of the most exciting wins of the season, rallying from a 6-1 deficit to defeat the sinking Diamondbacks, 8-7.

Youth Is Served, Even Against Doc Halladay
From Elias: Bryce Harper went 2-for-3 with two RBI against Roy Halladay in the Nationals' 5-2 win over the Phillies. It was a new experience for Doc in that Harper was the first teenager to bat against Halladay during his 15 seasons in the majors. In fact, Harper equaled the number of RBIs Halladay had previously allowed to players prior to their 21st birthday-one each to Starlin Castro and Ruben Tejada, a pair of 20-year-olds, both in 2010.

Wainwright lives on the edge in shutout
Adam Wainwright regained some of his 2009 and 2010 magic on Tuesday, tossing his third career shutout and first since August 6, 2010. For a guy who had a 9.78 ERA in his previous four home starts this season, the shutout must have been an especially sweet breath of fresh air for Wainwright.
