True, his 2.86 ERA last season and 3.39 the season before are impressive, but with so few strikeouts, the confidence to sustain that mark is absent. Specifically, Lohse's luck is bound to run out, making repeating BABIPs of .262 in 2012 and .269 in 2011 highly unlikely. Now factor in that Lohse no longer has Busch Stadium, one of the most difficult parks in which to hit homers, at his back and a sharp increase in ERA is in the cards.
