The Teixeira of today, one who turns 33 years old in April, is much closer to a .250 hitter with 30-homer power than the potential .300/40 player we saw during his prime. He's also a bit more susceptible to nagging aches and pains -- the strained right wrist that's expected to sideline him into at least May a prime example -- and might suffer in terms of runs/RBIs due to the Yankees' supporting cast's aging (or absence due to injury).
