Phillips Puts Reds Ahead
From Elias: Brandon Phillips snapped a 2-2 tie with an RBI single in the seventh inning that opened the flood gates for an eight-run frame by the Reds, who then held on to beat the Marlins, 10-6. Phillips, who ended Saturday's game with a sacrifice fly in the 13th inning, has 18 game-winning RBIs in the seventh inning or later during his major-league career, but this weekend marked the first time he's ever driven in such late-inning game-winners in back-to-back games.

Cleanup-hitter Phillips Gets Another Late Game-winner
From Elias: Brandon Phillips lofted a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 13th inning, sending home the winning run in the Reds' 3-2 victory over the Marlins. For Phillips (looking oh-so-comfortable in the cleanup spot from which he is batting .328 with 20 RBIs in 16 games), it was his third game-winning RBI in the eighth inning or later this season, highest total for any big-league player.
