In the 2003 Florida Marlins media guide, Miguel Cabrera was listed at 6'2", 185 pounds. He made his MLB debut with the team that eventually went on to win the World Series on June 20. The Marlins 2006 media guide, listed Miguel Cabrera at 6'2", 210 pounds. The next year, the team listed him at 6'4", 240 pounds (the Tigers listed him the same in 2011). You can draw your own conclusion on whether his body type had an effect on his fielding ability at third base.
