Miguel Cabrera homered for the fourth consecutive game in the Tigers' 7-6 win over the Twins on Thursday night. Over his last four games Cabrera has slammed six home runs and driven in 13 runs. In Tigers history, the only other player to register six or more homers and 13 or more RBIs over a four-game span while hitting at least one home run in each game was Willie Horton in 1965. From May 11-14 that year, Horton pounded out six home runs and drove in 15 runs. He homered once in each of the first two games and twice in each of the last two games.
