MLB - More Uptons
The Brothers Upton have both homered in the same game 3 times this season. The starting pitcher for all 3 of those games has been Julio Teheran. Teheran has the highest ERA of any Braves starter this season, but is 1-0 with 3 No-Decisions thanks to the Uptons.

Upton Bros. Power Co.
From Elias: Justin Upton hit his 10th home run of the season in the Braves' afternoon win over the Rockies on Tuesday. Upton is the 18th player in major-league history to reach 10 homers before his team had played 20 games, and at age 25, he's the second-youngest of the group, older than only Mickey Mantle, who was 24 when he hit his 10th of the 1956 season, in the Yankees 19th game. Upton also set a Braves team record for fewest team games needed to reach 10 home runs, breaking the mark held since 1985 by Dale Murphy (20 games). In the second game of Atlanta's doubleheader, B.J. and Justin Upton hit back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning. They're only the second pair of brothers in major-league history to hit back-to-back homers, joining Pittsburgh's Waner brothers, Lloyd and Paul, who did it in the fifth inning against Cliff Melton of the New York Giants on Sept. 15, 1938. That was the last of the 27 home runs that Lloyd Waner hit in the major leagues, It was the third time this month that the Uptons have hit home runs in the same game. No other pair of brothers has done that for the same team more than once in any month in major-league history. The only other pair of brothers to homer in the same game three times in one season are the Aarons, Hank and Tommie, who had three such games for the 1962 Braves.

MLB - Brothers with back-to-back HRs

A Night The Uptons Will Remember Forever
From Elias: It was bound to happen-though not necessarily in their first week as major-league teammates, and certainly not in the ninth inning, accounting for the tying and winning runs! But B.J. and Justin Upton hit game-tying and game-winning home runs in the ninth inning off Carlos Marmol as the Braves produced a memorable come-from-behind victory. The Uptons became just the fourth pair of brothers to hit home runs as teammates in the same inning; Paul and Lloyd Waner did it twice, Hank and Tommy Aaron once, and Cal and Bill Ripken twice. Only one of the previous instances involved a walkoff homer: in 1962, the Milwaukee Braves trailed the Cardinals, 6-3, going to the last of the ninth inning. With one out, Tommie Aaron pinch-hit a solo homer and later in the inning, brother Hank belted a bases-loaded walkoff homer off Lindy McDaniel to earn the victory, 8-6. The game-winner was Justin Upton's second home run of the game, and his fifth in the Braves' five games this season. Anyone remember the last major-leaguer to hit five home runs over his team's first five games of a season? That would be Detroit's Chris Shelton, who in 2006 actually poled out five homers over the Tigers' first four games of the season. (Shelton fell off quickly after his hot start, and actually was sent to the minors later that summer-a fate unlikely to befall either Upton brother!)

MLB- Uptons accomplish a first
From Elias: CHANGED WORDING ON 1ST NOTE TO SOMETHING THAT READS BETTER --- B.J. Upton hit a game-tying home run in the 9th inning. Justin Upton hit a walk-off HR later in the inning. 1- This is the 1st time IN MLB HISTORY that 2 brothers homered for the same team in the same inning, with one homering to tie and the other hitting a walk-off home run. 2- The last time prior to Saturday that 2 brothers homered in the same game, with one hitting a walk-off home run and the other having homered earlier in the game was on July 12, 1962-- Tommie Aaron homered in the 9th inning for the Braves to cut into a Cardinals lead. Hank Aaron then hit a walk-off grand slam.
