Milwaukee Brewers left-hander Chris Narveson will have surgery on the torn rotator cuff in his throwing shoulder and miss the rest of the season, he said Tuesday.

The Milwaukee Brewers have placed left-handed starter Chris Narveson on the 15-day disabled list with a tear of his left rotator cuff. Right-hander Marco Estrada will start Saturday's game against Colorado in Narveson's place.
