Morales has to prove not only his health this spring but also that he's still a more valuable run producer than, say, Mark Trumbo or any of the outfielders in order to win the lion's share of the DH at-bats. In Morales' defense, he's still 28 years old and was borderline MVP candidate at the time he hurt his ankle, so there's always a chance he could rebound in a significant way.
