Don't be fooled, though; the most substantial difference affecting him in 2013 is pitching for a Tigers team that can support him far more than his Marlins mates from the past could. Since 2009, Sanchez has received 3.86 runs per nine of support, fourth worst in baseball, and his 3.17 number in 2012 was second worst. He also settled in nicely for his new team following last July's trade, assuaging any league-change concerns, as he managed 11 quality starts, a 3.32 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP in his 15 turns (playoffs included). Sanchez won't cost you more than a mid-rounder in mixed Rotisserie leagues, but he's capable of a healthy return.
