SAN FRANCISCO -- The Cincinnati Reds left right-handed reliever Logan Ondrusek off the roster for their division series matchup against the San Francisco Giants.
The Reds announced their roster before Game 1 on Saturday. They are carrying 11 pitchers for the series, with fifth starter Mike Leake and Ondrusek being held out.
Ondrusek had the fourth most appearances on the Reds this season with 63 but struggled late in the year. He had a 4.76 ERA with eight walks and three homers allowed in 11 1/3 innings since Aug. 18.
Cincinnati also is going with just Ryan Hanigan and Dioner Navarro at catcher, leaving Devin Mesoraco off the roster.
