Power Rankings: Manny-less Dodgers still No. 1

Week:

ESPN.com

This is the fifth week the Los Angeles Dodgers have been without Manny Ramirez. Yet for four of those weeks, the Dodgers have been the No. 1 team in baseball.

The Dodgers, who continue to play steady baseball in Manny's absence, finished 4-2 for the week to remain atop the MLB Power Rankings for the fourth straight time. They came close to dropping all four games to Philadelphia over the weekend. But after dropping Thursday's game, the Dodgers had to rally against Phillies closer Brad Lidge on Friday and Saturday to take the next two games of the series, before losing Sunday night.

The Dodgers are followed once again by the No. 2 New York Yankees, who were also 4-2 for the week. The Boston Red Sox (No. 3), Philadelphia Phillies (No. 4) and the Milwaukee Brewers (No. 5) fill out the top five.

One of our panelists, Enrique Rojas of ESPNDeportes.com, wrote the comments below. Meanwhile, you can rank the teams yourself.
