Bell, Rollins seek to follow up four-hit games on Saturday

Atlanta (45-51) at Philadelphia (44-50) 4:05 pm EDT

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- David Bell and Jimmy Rollins were glad to be back home Friday after a West Coast trip that followed the All-Star break.

Bell and Rollins attempt to continue their hot hitting as the Philadelphia Phillies try to win for the fifth time in seven games in Saturday's meeting with the Atlanta Braves.

The duo recorded four hits apiece and the Phillies scored three runs in the eighth inning to post a 6-5 victory over the Braves on Friday and moved into a virtual tie for second place with Atlanta in the National League East Division.

Bell set a season high for hits and is 14-for-25 in his last six games. Rollins, who belted a solo home run in the seventh inning, posted his first four-hit game of the year and is 9-for-19 in his last four contests.

Brett Myers (6-3, 3.77 ERA) makes his first home appearance since his arrest June 23 on domestic abuse charges. He gave up two runs and five hits in seven innings of last Sunday's win over the San Francisco Giants.

The Braves counter with rookie Chuck James (4-0, 3.72), who has won all four starts after opening the year with seven relief appearances. He yielded five runs and six hits in five frames of last Sunday's triumph at San Diego.

Chipper Jones is batting .512 (42-for-82) with eight home runs and 24 RBI during a 20-game hitting streak for the Braves, who have dropped two straight after a seven-game winning streak.
