After the Los Angeles Angels had their 10-game road win streak snapped, they have a good chance to start another one the way C.J. Wilson has been pitching.

Wilson has been outstanding over his last four outings as the Southern California native pitches at Dodger Stadium for the first time in the regular season Wednesday night in the finale of this edition of the Freeway Series.

The Angels (33-30) came up one win shy of their franchise-record 11-game road win streak from July 6-Aug. 2, 1988, losing 5-2 on Tuesday.

Wilson (7-4, 2.39 ERA) gives them a great opportunity to get back on track with the AL's second-lowest ERA. He's 3-0 with a 0.64 ERA in his last four starts, with 26 strikeouts in 28 innings and opponents batting .146 against him in that stretch.

The left-hander struck out nine and yielded one run in eight innings Friday to earn a 7-2 victory at Colorado, retiring the first 11 hitters before a bunt single by Carlos Gonzalez.

He's 2-1 with a 2.57 ERA in five career road interleague starts. His lone regular-season appearance against the Dodgers (40-23) was one inning of relief June 14, 2009, with Texas.

Wilson did pitch at Dodger Stadium this year with four scoreless innings in an 8-3 exhibition victory April 4.

He has not had much success against former Angel Juan Rivera, who is 7 for 16 with a homer and four walks against him.

The Angels didn't have much success containing Rivera on Tuesday, either. Rivera hit a go-ahead three-run home run that capped a four-run Dodgers rally in the eighth inning, finishing with his first four-RBI game since Sept. 18.

"I tried to hit the ball hard," Rivera said, insisting that the homer didn't have special meaning because it came against his former team. "I just tried to do my job."

Andre Ethier tied the game earlier in the inning with an RBI single hours after the right fielder received an $85 million, five-year contract extension that goes through 2017. He leads the NL with 54 RBIs and has 500 for his career.

"It's fun to see they're going to start stacking up in this Dodger uniform," Ethier said. "It's fun they have that much belief in you."

The Dodgers also slowed down Mike Trout, who went 0 for 4 after homering in Monday's 3-2 win for the Angels. Trout went 10 for 18 with 10 runs scored, six stolen bases and four RBIs in the first four contests of this six-game road stretch.

This series is showcasing plenty of speed with Trout and the Dodgers' Dee Gordon, who had three stolen bases Tuesday to increase his total to 20 -- one behind the Cubs' Tony Campana for the major league lead. Trout is tied with Cleveland's Jason Kipnis for the AL lead with 15.

The Dodgers have dropped all three 2012 starts by Wednesday's scheduled starter Nathan Eovaldi (0-2, 1.93), although he has received one total run of support.

The right-hander worked six scoreless innings in his first career interleague outing Friday, when the Dodgers were no-hit in a 1-0 defeat in Seattle.

The Los Angeles Kings will bring the Stanley Cup to Wednesday's game.
