Apparently the time off could not immediately end the Philadelphia Phillies' latest slump.

The Phillies look to avoid matching a season high with their sixth consecutive loss Saturday night against the Colorado Rockies.

Last in the NL East and 15 games behind first-place Washington, Philadelphia (37-51) came out of the All-Star break the same way it entered it -- with another loss. Cliff Lee yielded three runs in six respectable innings but the top four hitters in the Phillies' lineup went 2 for 14 during Friday's 6-2 defeat at Coors Field.

The five-time reigning East champions have lost 11 of 12, and don't show any real signs of turning things around.

"I shake my head because I look out there and see Lee pitching. I can't believe we can't win some games with him pitching," said Philadelphia manager Charlie Manuel, whose team is 4-11 in Lee's starts.

Carlos Ruiz and Jimmy Rollins combined for four of the seven hits for Philadelphia, which lost for only the third time in its last 14 games at Colorado including postseason.

Batting .352 during his All-Star season, Ruiz has been one of the few offensive bright spots for a Phillies club that's been outscored 27-13 during the five-game losing streak.

Center fielder Shane Victorino is 2 for 24 in his last six games.

Scheduled Phillies starter Vance Worley (4-5, 3.54 ERA) allowed only a two-run homer to Chris Nelson and three other hits in seven innings of a 4-1 loss June 21, his first start against the Rockies.

The right-hander, 1/3 with a 4.05 ERA in his last seven outings overall, gave up three runs over six innings Sunday while not factoring in the decision of a 4-3 loss to Atlanta.

Colorado All-Star Carlos Gonzalez is 0 for 3 against Worley, but had three hits Friday after going 2 for 15 in his previous four games. Gonzalez is batting .440 is 20 games, including postseason, versus Philadelphia.

Rockies right-hander Jeremy Guthrie (3-8, 6.05) has yielded two runs and six hits over six innings in each of his last two starts since returning to the rotation after making four appearances out of the bullpen.

Guthrie kept his team in the game Sunday long enough for the Rockies to pull out a 4-3 victory over Washington.

"Obviously it's a positive to be able to go out there and give the team a chance to win," Guthrie said.

Guthrie did not allow a hit over three scoreless innings of relief in a 7-6 loss at Philadelphia on June 20, but has not started a game versus Philadelphia since June 21, 2009, when he gave up a homer and two other hits in seven innings of a 2-1 win for Baltimore.

Colorado (34-52) will play this series without veteran first baseman Todd Helton, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday with right hip inflammation. Helton is batting .235 with seven home runs and 34 RBIs in 63 games this season.
