ST. PETERSBURG, Florida (Ticker) -- Toby Hall helped the Tampa
Bay Devil Rays avoid a total loss.

Hall's two-run double with two outs in the bottom of the eighth
inning snapped a tie and helped the Devil Rays gain a split of a
doubleheader with the Detroit Tigers, 6-4.

Coming off a 8-0 loss in the opener, the Devil Rays squandered a
3-2 lead in the top of the eighth when Omar Infante and Craig

After Jamie Walker retired Carl Crawford, Hall produced the

Jose Cruz Jr. had three hits and knocked in three runs for the
Devil Rays.

Travis Harper (6-2) got the win despite allowing two runs in the
top of the eighth. Danys Baez worked the ninth for his 30th
