BOSTON (Ticker) -- The hottest home team in the majors, the
Boston Red Sox will seek a 14th consecutive win at Fenway Park
on Sunday. They also will attempt to become just the second team
to sweep the Chicago White Sox this season.

Matt Clement (11-3, 4.53 ERA), who has only one win since July
6, will try to lead the Red Sox to their seventh straight
victory overall. In his last outing Tuesday, he gave up two
runs and six hits in six innings against Texas but did not get a
decision.

Chicago will counter with Orlando Hernandez (8-5, 4.67), who is
1-3 in his last five starts. He took the loss against the New
York Yankees on Monday when he allowed three runs and four hits
in six innings.

David Ortiz has seven hits in the first two games of the series
and needs one RBI to reach 100 for the season. He and Tony
Graffanino collected three hits apiece in Saturday's 7-4
triumph.

The victory enabled the Red Sox to maintain a five-game lead
over the Yankees atop the American League East Division.

The White Sox, who are 38-19 on the road and own a comfortable
12-game lead in the AL Central, hope to avoid tying a season
high with a third straight loss.
